What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel any order for a 100% refund before it has shipped out. Please notify us immediately at info@garagedepartment.com if you would like to cancel your order. Once the order has shipped, it is subject to our 30-Day Return Policy.

What if my product is damaged?

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, even damage to the box, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If you’re unable to open the package during delivery but suspect damage, write “suspect damage” on the delivery receipt.  

If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@garagedepartment.com and we will process an immediate replacement or compensation (usually within 1 business day).

How do I place an order?

To place orders by phone, call us at  1-833-7GARAGE

To place an order online, simply click “Add To Cart” on your preferred product and proceed to checkout via “Secure Checkout”. Enter your shipping and billing information and complete checkout.

You will receive an immediate order confirmation and we will process your order immediately.

How do I know when my order will ship?

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email confirmation credit card authorization and shipping/billing information. 

We will immediately process your order and you will receive an email confirming your order has shipped once it leaves the warehouse. 

If an item goes out of stock, you will be notified via email or phone within one business day. We take great measures to ensure all products listed on our website are in stock, but often times items can quickly sell out due to high demand.

Will you send an order confirmation via e-mail?

An order confirmation message will be sent to the e-mail address you provide us for each order you submit. We recommend that you print and save the e-mail confirmation for your records. Please be sure to enter your e-mail address correctly to ensure that you receive your order confirmation.

Do you charge sales tax?

We are located in Delaware and do not charge sales tax. This alone can save you hundreds of dollars compared to ordering elsewhere.

Can I change my order?

Yes, you can change your order at no cost by simply emailing us at info@garagedepartment.com and requesting the change. Any price difference will be credited to your card or we will send you a custom invoice to pay the difference. Orders can only be changed before shipping.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Depending on the brand, orders may ship out the same business day or take up to 2 business days to ship. On rare occasions order shipment may take longer due to unforeseen delays.

The receiver was shipped with a jumper in the wrong position

When I first hooked up the sensor to the opener, the opener behaved not at all like it was supposed to. After some consternation I finally figured out that the receiver must not be set in the NO configuration, which was called for in the owners manual. After looking at the circuit board in the receiver with a magnifier, I discovered a tiny wire jumper which was in the NC position. It was after I moved that jumper to the NO position that the opener behaved properly. Nothing in the manual mentioned anything about the existence of this jumper, where to look for it, and what to do with it.

It won't be put up for a couple more months.

The light drop-shipped direct from the manufacturer. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This will be my first run with it but I have friends that use them in commercial applications with outstanding results.

Do you have that one available

Where is the electronic/ solar opener? It has never arrived. This shipment was supposed to arrive before Christmas. This is unacceptable. I cannot install the gate without the opener. My installer is ready to install it. By the end of the week my installation will not be done until he has fulfilled his commitments.
You asked me earlier & I told you- this is the third time I have had to tell you that the gate opener I ordered at the same time I ordered the gate NEVER ARRIVED because I informed you immediately when it did not arrive with the gate & posts. Commander Gwynn R. & Mrs Sutton
